Qigong Classes
I believe the best health and wellness care is 'self care' when it is done properly. Qigong exercise is a gentle self care discipline which can provide this as it helps to restore health, develop mental clarity, balance emotions.
What, When & Where: For 2026-2027, I offer two introductory courses meeting in person every Tuesday at Mastick Senior Center in Alaameda from 10:00 am -11 am or Saturday 10-11 am. In these courses you will learn warm up exercises, beginning posture and a collection of exercises to improve and maintain your health and balance your mind body and spirit. I also offer two advanced classes there as well on Thursdays from 10-11 am, and also on Saturdays 11:15 am-12:15 pm.. In this couse you will learn a beautiful Medical Qigong form developed by Dr. Xu Hongtao called Gui Gen (return to the origin or root). Robert was trained in Gui Gen Qigong in 2008-2009 and certified as a practioner of Qigong by his teacher Dr. Suzanne Friedman, L.Ac., DMQ (China) who learned directly from Dr. Xu Hongdao while in China.
All 4 classes are offered for six weeks through Mastick Senior Center in Alameda and can be repeated as many times as you like. Please contact Mastick Senior Center at 510-747-7500 to register. Class size is limited and must be 50 years old or older to join.
Zoom Online classes: Mondays 10-11 am or Thursdays 5-6 pm and open to adults of all ages. Contact me directly via email if interested.
Cost: Cost of Zoom class is $65/month due at the beginning of the month and can be paid by Zelle or by sending a check made out to 'Harmony Healing Center', include your email and you will receive your invitation to join the Zoom class (or simply email to: robert@harmonyhealingcenter.com).
