Qigong Classes

Classes - I believe the best health and wellness care is 'self care' when it is done properly. Qigong exercise is a gentle self care discipline which can provide this as it helps to restore health, develop mental clarity, balance emotions.

What, When & Where: For 2017, courses are offered about every three months and consist of 6 classes. We meet once a week, for one hour, in the beautiful Garden Cottage at The Home of Truth in Alameda. I teach a beginning Medical Qigong course with warm up exercises, beginning posture and a collection of exercises to improve and maintain your health and balance your mind body and spirit. I also teach a wonderful intermediate Medical Qigong form developed by Dr. Xu Hongtao called Gui Gen (return to the origin). After the first six weeks, you may wish to continue to meet to practice and refine your skill by joining the Wednesday night ongoing class which meets from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. If you are interested, please call the Harmony Healing Center for dates and times of the next course.

Cost: The cost of the 6 week course is $125. However, you can save $25 by registering early. Register by mailing a check for $125 made out to Harmony Healing Center and send it to the address below. Class size is limited to in order to give each student more individual attention. Ongoing practice classes after completion are on a drop in basis and are $18 per class or $50 per calendar month and open to anyone who has finished the prior 6 week course. For additional information, please contact me at (510) 814-8771 during my regular office hours or email: info@harmonyhealingcenter.com.

In addition, I now teach the beginning Qigong course at the Mastick Senior Center in Alameda. For information about cost and when the next course begins, please contact either me or the Mastick Senior Center at (510) 747-7500.

Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon!
